Wendy LeBolt, PhD, CPT

Your Personal Trainer

keeping you in the game

Move better. Feel stronger. Do more of what you love.

I’m Wendy LeBolt, PhD, CPT—a kinesiologist and, as I like to say, a human interior decorator.

I assess how you move, figure out what’s getting in your way, and design individualized training programs to help you move better, feel stronger, and stay in the game.

Whether you’re returning from an injury, rebuilding after surgery, looking for a smarter way to exercise, or simply want to stay strong and capable as you age, I can help.

I Can Help You...

GET BACK IN THE GAME

Have you sustained a sports injury and want to get back to doing what you love?

I can help you rebuild strength, confidence, and the physical skills you need to return to your activities.

MOVE BEYOND PHYSICAL THERAPY

Finished physical therapy but still don’t feel like you’re back to 100%?

The transition from rehabilitation to full performance can be frustrating. I can help you bridge that gap with a training program designed specifically for where you are now.

BUILD BACK AFTER SURGERY

Recovering from a joint replacement or other surgery?

Getting back to full speed takes more than simply checking a box on a rehabilitation plan. I can help you progressively build strength, mobility, and confidence so you can get back to the life you want to live.

BREAK OUT OF AN EXERCISE RUT

Does your exercise routine need a boost—or a completely new approach?

Let’s figure out what’s working, what’s not, and what will keep you moving forward.

GET STRONGER FOR LIFE

Maybe nothing is “wrong.” You simply want to move better, feel stronger, and keep doing the things you enjoy.

That’s a great reason to train.

I’ll design an individualized program that meets you where you are and helps you get where you want to go.

GET YOUR GROUP MOVING

Have a group that wants to get moving together?

Let’s schedule a Workout with Wendy.

SCIENCE-BACKED. EXPERIENCE-DRIVEN. PERSONALIZED FOR YOU.

I bring science to the way you move.

My background began with biology at The College of William & Mary, followed by advanced degrees in Exercise Science from George Washington University and the Medical College of Virginia.

I’ve also served on the faculty at two of my alma maters, teaching courses including human anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, and exercise prescription.

But education is only part of the story.

I take my love of science and sports to the field, the classroom, and the lecture circuit. I’ve trained thousands of athletes, coaches, and teams and delivered hundreds of instructional and motivational sessions on health, fitness, injury prevention, and active aging.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all exercise.

Your body, your history, your goals, and your life are uniquely yours. Your training should be, too.

A TRAINER WHO LOVES TO TEACH

I’m a kinesiologist, educator, author, speaker, and trainer—and I genuinely enjoy helping people understand their bodies.

Because when you understand why you’re doing something, you’re more likely to make it part of your life.

I work with people of all ages, and I believe learning should be practical, encouraging, and fun.

My goal isn’t simply to give you another workout.

My goal is to help you become more capable in your own body.

FROM THE FIELD TO THE PAGE

Over the years, I’ve written hundreds of articles on health, wellness, fitness, and sports performance for print journals, newsletters, and online publications.

I’m also the author of:

Fit2Finish: Keeping Your Soccer Players in the Game

and

Made to Move: Knowing and Loving God through Our Bodies

I also enjoy sharing what I know through speaking and teaching. I’ve presented to local, regional, and national organizations and am a popular instructor at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
